The Brown Family Gazette's creator and webmaster, Stanley P. Brown, is honored to have been chosen by June Gibson Anderson to continue her legacy of researching and maintaining the history of our Gibson heritage. June Anderson saw fit to leave much of her life's work in my pssession. It is therefore my honor and privilege to make as much of this informatin available to family, friends and genealogical researchers whose history may intertwine with our own as I can. I will be uploading these documents to this site as time permits and to do this, I will begin with June's summation of her work, some of it written in her own hand. These documents are presented "as is" I feel I should not add to, or take away from what she has compiled... (duplications have been removed) Click here...
Irene hiking Yorktown Battlefield trails | |
A New Pass Time
In August 2008, Irene and I were hooked by the walking bug. We decided that something needed to be done about our weight and lack of activity. We have been walking bike paths and hiking trails all over the area. We recently returned from a trip to Williamsburg, where we whike along the 2.92 mile Waller Mill Park Trail. We've discovered a really nice park right here in Fredericksburg (Alum Springs Park), photos of the park are to the right of this page.
We will be posting more photos of our hiking advantures from months past and as the weather gets warmer in 2009. If you have photos you would like us to post, please send them in.![]()
